Safe Relocation & Position Rigging
  • Mast Lowering: When driving or moving the rig within the job site, the mast (boom) must be lowered to its lowest resting position. Driving with a raised mast on slopes greater than 5 degrees poses a severe tipping hazard.
  • Casing Installation: Steel casings must be securely driven into place before drilling. The alignment deviation must not exceed 5 cm, and the vertical inclination must be kept under 1%.
  • Ground Stability: The ground around the casing must be backfilled and thoroughly compacted to ensure the massive weight of the rotary rig does not trigger ground subsidence or a collar collapse.
